Snippets from Edgar Loessin of “Loessin at Large”’s review of “Love, Inc”:

“The outstanding, very talented comedian, Michael Minaret plays Landon and other roles as well. He makes each of them delightfully distinct individuals in a pleasant, effortless manner. He's a joy.”

“Hollis Scarborough is quite fine in her sensitive portrayal of the ex-wife”

“Paolo Montalban, with his easy, handsome presence and a most pleasing voice, plus subtle acting skills, is a very winning, multi-faceted Casey.”

“Jeffrey Lodin at the keyboard and as conductor adds zest and sparkle to the songs as do Randy
Cohen's and Bryan Crook's crisp orchestrations.”

“Annmarie Duggan's Valentine lighting is lush and pretty to behold. Sean Tribble's sliding screens set glides from one locale to another with the greatest of ease.”

LOVE, Inc.

A new romantic musical comedy

at The TCC Jeanne and George Roper Performing Arts Center in Norfolk, VAFebruary 5th through February 22nd, 2009

Love, Inc - a new romantic musical comedy
Book, music, lyrics by Marc Castle
Directed by Igor Goldin
Produced by Power Productions New York, Inc. / Stan Raiff

About the Musical:

"Love, Inc." follows a young, successful business woman named Faith, as she attempts to make the leap into the dating scene after years of climbing the corporate ladder. Although successful at work, Faith finds herself unlucky in the business of love so she decides to take drastic measures she incorporates! With the help of her head-turning, sassy neighbor, Aura, and an out-of-work actor, Landon, she sets out to change the business of love using basic marketing principals:

Step 1: Designing the Plan - with you in mind.
Step 2: Defining the Plan - what you are looking for
Step 3: Creating Awareness - that you are available
Step 4: Action - bringing you and the product together
Step 5: The Result Happily Ever After?

With twists and turns right down to the very end, Love, Inc is a fast-paced, 90 minute romantic musical comedy that takes a modern approach to a not-so classic love story.
